1. Consider Your Cat's Personality

Observe your new friend for a few days. Are they playful and energetic? A name like 'Sparky' or 'Zippy' might fit. Are they calm and majestic? Perhaps 'Luna' or 'Leo' would be more suitable. Matching the name to their personality makes it more meaningful.

2. Draw Inspiration from Their Appearance

Your cat's coat color and pattern can be a great source of inspiration. A black cat could be 'Shadow' or 'Onyx'. A ginger cat could be 'Ginger' or 'Sunny'. For a fluffy cat, how about 'Fluffy' or 'Cloud'? The possibilities are endless.

3. Make It Personal and Easy to Call

Choose a name that you love and is easy for you to call out. Two-syllable names are often recommended as they are easy for cats to distinguish. Try calling out a few names and see how your cat reacts!
